When I first started practicing yoga more regularly, I had a very strong interest in aerial yoga. I had taken some classes in Palm Beach Gardens at PB Yoga and I loved it so my first big yoga purchase was a swing for the backyard.
I thought I would be able to jump on it and do all kinds of flips and tricks. However, I soon realized there is much more to yoga than poses and flips and tricks. I realized the focus must come from within and you must treat your body, yourself, others, and the world in a way that transforms your life, your body, and your practice. I still had a lot of fun though! Once I get my initial certification, I plan to take a training and further my aerial practice so that I can share the joys of flying and the fact that EVERYONE no matter what level they may be at can participate and get a great aerial yoga session that benefits their personal practice.
